Terms of Service for Stamp Your Pic App

These Terms of Service govern your use of Stamp Your Pic, an app provided by CodeInFaith. By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Stamp Your Pic, you agree to these Terms.

About Stamp Your Pic

Stamp Your Pic is an iOS and Android camera app that adds a stamp to your photos. It can take photos with your device’s camera or import photos from your gallery, and add the date, time, place name or address, coordinates, compass heading, altitude, a note, or your own logo in a choice of stamp designs. Stamped photos, and optionally the unstamped originals, are saved to your device’s photo library.

Stamp Your Pic does not require an account.

Acceptance of Terms

You accept these Terms when you access or use Stamp Your Pic, install the app, or purchase a Pro feature. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

If you use Stamp Your Pic on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Permissions, Location, and Photo Data

The app may request camera, location, and photo library access. You choose which permissions to grant and can change them in your device settings at any time. Without location access, the app can still stamp the date and time.

You control whether your location is written into a saved photo’s metadata through the “Location in photo data” setting, which is off by default. If you turn it on, or if a stamp shows your location, anyone who receives the photo may see where it was taken. You are responsible for deciding what to share.

Accuracy of Stamp Information

Stamp information comes from your device and its services: the device clock, GPS, compass, and the operating system’s geocoding service (Apple on iOS, Google on Android). It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or missing because of signal conditions, device settings, sensor calibration, or the geocoding service. Imported photos use the date and location stored in the photo’s own metadata, which may be wrong or missing.

Stamp Your Pic is not a certified evidence, surveying, navigation, or time-keeping tool. We do not guarantee that a stamp’s date, time, place, address, coordinates, heading, or altitude is correct, or that a stamped photo will be accepted as proof by any person, employer, insurer, court, or authority. Verify important information independently.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use Stamp Your Pic only in a lawful and responsible manner. You must not:

  • Take, stamp, or share photos of people, private property, or restricted places in a way that violates law, privacy rights, or other rights.
  • Use stamps to misrepresent when or where a photo was taken, or to deceive or defraud anyone.
  • Use a logo or note you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Use the app in safety-critical, emergency, navigation, or other high-risk situations where wrong information could cause injury, damage, or loss.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, copy, resell, or redistribute the app except where allowed by law.
  • Interfere with the app, app stores, purchase systems, or related services.

Pro Features and In-App Purchases

Stamp Your Pic offers a free version with a daily limit on saved photos and a set of free stamp designs. Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks features such as unlimited saves and all Pro stamp designs, as described in the app or store listing at the time of purchase. Lifetime Pro means for the life of the app, not a guarantee that the app will be offered or supported forever.

Features, pricing, and availability may change over time.

Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment method, taxes, purchase confirmation, family sharing availability, restore behavior, and purchase records may be governed by that provider’s terms and policies.

Refunds and Store Policies

Refund requests, chargebacks, and billing disputes are generally handled by the app store through which you made the purchase. We do not control app store refund decisions. If you need support related to Stamp Your Pic, you may contact us using the information below.

Intellectual Property

Stamp Your Pic, including its software, interface, stamp designs, layouts, text, graphics, branding, and related materials, is owned by CodeInFaith or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Fonts and other third-party materials are used under their own licenses. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

You keep all rights in the photos you take or import, the notes you write, and the logos you add. You may use, share, and publish photos you stamp with the app, including for commercial purposes, without attribution to CodeInFaith. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the content in your photos, notes, and logos.

Your Photos and Backups

Your photos are stored on your device and in your photo library, not by CodeInFaith. We cannot recover a photo that is lost, deleted, or not saved, for example a photo you discarded or one still being edited when the app was uninstalled. Keep your own backups of important photos.

Third-Party Services and App Stores

Stamp Your Pic relies on third-party software and services, including app stores, payment processors, device operating systems, geocoding services, and Firebase. Those third parties may have their own terms, policies, and technical limitations. We are not responsible for third-party services or hardware that we do not control.

Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeInFaith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, photos, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of Stamp Your Pic or reliance on stamp information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Stamp Your Pic will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or Pro features in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

Suspension or Termination

You may stop using Stamp Your Pic at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or related services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, violated law, or interfered with the app or purchase systems.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Stamp Your Pic after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent a dispute is not required to be handled by an app store, platform provider, or other mandatory process, you agree that disputes will be brought in courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
