Terms of Service for Photo Frame for Tablet
These Terms of Service govern your use of Photo Frame for Tablet (“Photo Frame”), an app provided by CodeInFaith. By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Photo Frame, you agree to these Terms.
About Photo Frame
Photo Frame turns an iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet into a digital photo frame. It shows the photos you choose as a slideshow with frame styles, themes, and transitions, and lets you send photos from one device to another over your local Wi-Fi network.
Acceptance of Terms
You accept these Terms when you install, use, or purchase anything in Photo Frame. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use Photo Frame on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can accept these Terms for it.
Devices, Networks, and Permissions
Photo Frame depends on hardware and software we do not control, including your devices and their operating systems, your Wi-Fi network and router, and screen and battery settings. We do not guarantee that Photo Frame works with every device or network. Some networks, such as guest or public Wi-Fi, may block devices from finding or reaching each other.
The app asks for access to your photos through the system photo picker, for the camera to scan a frame’s QR code, and for local network access to send and receive photos.
Your Photos
You keep all rights to your photos. You are responsible for the photos you add, show, and send, and for having the right to use them. Photo Frame stores photos only on your device, so if you remove a photo, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, the copies in Photo Frame may be lost. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use Photo Frame lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Use the app to show or send content in a way that violates law, privacy rights, copyrights, or other rights.
- Send photos to a device without its owner’s permission.
- Reverse engineer, modify, copy, resell, or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
- Interfere with the app, the app stores, or purchase systems.
Free Use, Pro, and In-App Purchases
Photo Frame can be used for free with a set of free frame styles and transitions. Photo Frame Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks premium themes, animations, Smart Framing, Night Mode, frame style options, and other Pro features as described in the app or store listing at the time of purchase. Features, pricing, and availability may change over time.
Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Your payment, taxes, purchase confirmation, Family Sharing, restore behavior, and purchase records are governed by that store’s terms. Pro is tied to the store account used to buy it.
Refunds
Refunds and billing disputes are handled by the app store you bought from, under its policies. We do not control those decisions. For help with Photo Frame itself, contact us using the details below.
Intellectual Property
Photo Frame, including its software, design, text, graphics, frame artwork, themes, and branding, is owned by CodeInFaith or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
Third-Party Services
Photo Frame relies on third-party software and services, including app stores, operating systems, and Firebase. They have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for services or hardware we do not control.
Disclaimers
Photo Frame is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, compatibility, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance. We do not guarantee that every transfer will succeed, that Smart Framing will find every face, or that the screen will stay on under every device setting.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeInFaith is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, photos, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of Photo Frame.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Photo Frame will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
Suspension or Termination
You may stop using Photo Frame at any time. We may suspend or end access to the app or related services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, broken the law, or interfered with the app or purchase systems.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Photo Frame after updated Terms are posted means you accept them.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless a dispute must be handled by an app store or another mandatory process, disputes will be brought in the courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
