Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19 (NIV) - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He is the only way to salvation and eternal life.

John 3:16 (NIV) - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and it is the final authority for faith and practice.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of fellowship with other believers.

James 5:16 (NIV) - Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the dead.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV) - For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
