Prayer is personal, and it usually happens in the language you grew up with. When you are lying awake at night with an anxious mind, you don’t want to translate God’s Word in your head. You want to hear it.
Edenify 1.4 is now available in Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Korean. If you speak one of these languages, you can fall asleep with a Christian sleep meditation, start your morning with a Scripture devotional, and read the Bible passage behind each session, all in your own language.
Three new languages
Edenify now speaks five languages: English, Spanish, and the three new ones below. Each has its own store listing, so you can find the app by searching in your language.
| Language | Store name |
|---|---|
| Brazilian Portuguese | Edenify Oração para Dormir |
| French | Edenify Prière pour Dormir |
| Korean | Edenify 수면 기도 |
More than translated buttons
A language update is only useful if the content comes along with it. In Edenify, it does:
- The meditations themselves. Daily meditation titles, descriptions, and guided sessions are in your language, not just the menus around them.
- Scripture in a familiar translation. Each meditation is built on a Bible passage, and Edenify shows that passage in a translation readers already know: João Ferreira de Almeida (JFA) in Portuguese, Louis Segond (LSG) in French, and the Korean Revised Version (개역한글, KRV) in Korean.
- The whole app. Home, Discover, the player, settings, and the Pro screen are all localized.
You can read the full passage before you press play, then go straight into the meditation. If you’re new to this way of praying, our guide to Christian meditation with Scripture explains how it works.
Morning devotional and sleep meditation, every day
Edenify is built around two moments: the start of the day and the end of it.
- Morning Devotional helps you begin with God’s Word before the day gets loud.
- Sleep Meditation has a slower pace, so you can let go of anxious thoughts and rest in God’s peace.
In the morning, Morning Devotional is listed first. At night, Sleep Meditation is. If you are wondering which one fits your routine, read morning vs. sleep meditation.
Today’s meditations are free in full
This release also changes what’s free. Today’s Morning Devotional and Sleep Meditation are now free to listen to in full, every day, in every language. You don’t need an account to start.
Edenify Pro unlocks the rest of the library: past meditations, topic-based journeys, and the full Discover catalog.
Also in 1.4
- Better offline listening. Downloaded meditations now keep their intro and Scripture passage, so you can listen in the full player without a connection.
- Completed meditations are checked off, so you can see where you’ve been.
- Improved tablet layouts, so Edenify looks better on larger screens.
How to switch languages
If your phone or tablet is already set to Portuguese, French, or Korean, Edenify opens in that language automatically. You can also choose a language on the first intro screen, or change it any time in Settings.
